From the photo archives – a peek into medieval Delhi and Agra

Taj Mahal Agra

In 2013, my family and I took a short trip to Delhi and Agra to visit my dad, who was working there then. Now, years later, memories from that trip are as hazy as Delhi’s air. So while I remember very little of the biting winter winds—think 3°C evenings, ghee-laden chole-batura, and a very questionable dhaba on the Delhi-Agra route, I did manage to salvage some extremely unflattering, shoddily composed, and you-need-to-take-up-a-course-in-phone-photography level badly-lit images.

I’m not one to waste things, and while the following will most definitely paint my amateur phone photography skills in poor light (as they should, because they are poorly lit as previously stated), I will not let them be buried ‘neath the sands of time.
